バイオフィルムとは
バイオフィルム（生物膜）とは細菌が作る菌体外多糖の膜である。その膜の中に多くの異なる細菌が強固に集合している。バイオフィルムの中の 細菌は抗生物質にたいして非常に強い抵抗性を示すとされる。

対応としては外科的治療、根管通過法などが考えられる。 |
ろう孔がある場合は根管通過法を試みる。治らない場合には外科に進むと良い。（しかし、セメント質に感染がある場合には根管通過法は無効かもしれない。）
